At the very delicate age, he started learning "harmonium" from his father. Since his childhood, he was more inclined towards singing. He got appeared very first time in the season second of " Azme Alishan National Song Competition."He was so fortunate to perform in front of renown musicians "Arshad Mehmood" and "Strings," and he was the cleared winner of the show. He was an emerging singer who showed up his natural talent and singing ability in the show "Sur Kshetra".Undoubtedly his name declared as the winner of the show.He won the show by defeating the Team India Contestant “Dijaan” .
Nabeel winning journey of "Sur Kshetra" was not so easy after lots of dramatical moments such as in the final face-off The India Legendary singer Asha Bhosle decided to be the Diljaan as the winner but the legendry Pakistani singer Abida Parveen had thought to declare the Nabeel as the winner. But in the Finale round, it was a very tough challenge for both the contestants. But Nabeel cliched the moments of the finale by his most dynamic and mind-boggling performance on the show and looked upper-handed to Diljaan to win the title.
