Amit Jogi is the son of Chhattisgarh 's former Chief Minister Ajit Jogi. From Marwahi Vidhan Sabha constituency he elected as an MLA in assembly elections held in 2013. He has beaten the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party with 46,250 votes. He graduated from St. Stephen's College, Delhi in the year 1998, and obtained an MA from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, in (Political Affairs and International Studies) and from, Raipur. Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University he did his LLB. 
 
It was reported that he participated in a bribed Dilip Singh Judeo operation in 2003. According to the Central Investigation Bureau at the Supreme Court of India issued its declaration in 2005.On July 23, 2011, when an assault on Ms, Amit Jogi was badly injured. In Madhya Pradesh.
