Amy Joanne Robach is arguably one of the most famous American television journalist. She is presently working for ABC News as the news anchor on ‘Good Morning America’. She is known as a fighter and an inspiration to various women who are suffering from breast cancer as she is herself a breast cancer survivor. Through her programs, she has spread awareness about breast cancer as it is the most commonly diagnosed cancer today in American women after skin cancer. 
 
She began her broadcasting career with WCBD-TV as a general assignment reporter. She worked there for 4 long years before moving to NBC News. She worked there for 9 years. She served as a national correspondent for them and also co-hosted the Saturday edition of NBC's ‘Today’. After spending 9 years for them, she made a move to NBC News. She started off as a correspondent on ABC's ‘Good Morning America’ program. With passing years, she jumped in her career and became the news anchor of the show. She was unexpectedly diagnosed with one of the most common cancer breast cancer and that shattered her life. It was her family who stood by her and finally through therapy she and her husband salvaged their relationship like before.
 
She covered the 2004 and 2008 Presidential elections in America. She also covered the 2008 Beijing Olympics as well. She has also interviewed some of the most famous personalities of the world including Prince Harry and Malala Yousafzai among many others. She has also authored a book titled ‘Better: How I Let Go of Control, Held On To Hope, and Found Joy in My Darkest Hour’. She has mentioned about her struggle with breast cancer in this book.
