Cameron Lawther was born and raised in the UK. He was always interested in filmmaking and hence went to the US and assisted noted filmmakers such as Gerard Butler, F. Gary Gray, and Sir Kenneth Branagh. After that, he started his career by producing short films. Many of his short films were screened at various international film festivals and has won various awards as well. Some of his noted short films include Exile and Puzzled.
He made his debut as a prodcuer through the horror film AfterDeath in the year 2015. The film was highly praised and also marked the beginning of his career with his first feature film as a producer. For three and a half years, he worked for legendary American actor Brad Pitt when he was working in films such as Fury and World War Z. He also won the British Lion Award for best independent short film at the London Independent film awards in the year 2014.
