Charlotte Emma Aitchison is popularly known as Charli XCX. She came into the world on 2nd August 1992 in Cambridge, England. She is widely known as an English singer. Apart from this, she is an excellent songwriter, music video director, and a producer.

Brought up in start hill, Essex, she portrayed an intense closeness for music at an early age. Charli did her schooling from the Slade school of fine arts. For higher studies, she went to Bishop's Stortford College. In music too, she is primarily interested in pop acts like ‘spice girls’ and ‘Britney Spears’. Apart from singing, she also started composing songs at the age of 14. Her first song was called “fish and chips chop”. After having convinced her parents to grant her a loan, she recorded her first album and began posting it on her official page known as the “myspace” page. Her parents were of a supportive kind.
Charli signed the album known as “asylum records” in 2010. At that time, she hated pop music and desperately wanted to compose rap music. Then one fine day, she met with an American producer, Ariel Rechtshaid, and had a long two-hour session with him. Consequently, she came up with the song “stay away”. She gained popularity from the music website titled, “pitchfork”. She did not confine to the American producer only. She was always up for the experiments so she began working with Swedish producer, Patrik Berger. The outcome of this was that she wrote songs like “I love it” and “you’re the one”. Afterward, she announced her debut album. In April 2013, she released “true romance”. Album was well received by everyone including the critics.
“Superlove” released by her, became Charli’s first independent act on the chart. She also contributed to a film- fault in our stars by giving it the song, “boom clap”. Soon in an interview, she announced that she is working on her third album. She further said that this album is the most electronic thing she has done so far. “Vroom Vroom” was the first song released from the third album. It was released in 2016 via apple music. Later on, Charli XCX announced a new album-“How I’m feeling now”. She announced the album amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The album is Charli’s most acclaimed project to date
