David Walliams Complete Bio & Career

David Walliams actual name is David Edward Williams completed his school level education from Collingwood Boys' School, Wallington and Reigate Grammar School, Surrey. He obtained his graduate degree in BA (Drama) from the famous University of Bristol. It was during his time in University that he joined National Youth Theatre and performed there. He also became a member of the actors' union named Equity. It was after he joined Equity that he decided to change his stage name to Walliams because there was already an artist named David Williams in the group.
 
David started his professional career by performing in a science fiction audio series titled ‘Phantasmagoria’, in the year 1999. He then starred in the series of TV sketch show titled ‘Little Britain’ with Matt Lucas for 3 seasons from 2003-05. Besides performing, he also co-wrote the script of the series. This TV sketch show remains his best-recognized work as it was after this series that he was catapulted to fame. He made his stage debut in the year 2008 through Harold Pinter's ‘No Man's Land’. The very same, he inked a deal with HarperCollins to publish 2 children books. The very same year his first children’s novel titled ‘The Boy in the Dress’ was released. Along with publishing novels, he also kept performing and mad his appearance in a comedy film titled ‘Dinner for Schmucks’.
 
From 2012, he is serving as the judges on the ITV’s famous talent show titled ‘Britain's Got Talent’. In 2016, he starred and produced a sketch show titled ‘Walliams & Friend’. He also served as the host of the New York comedy show called ‘Thrills and Spills’ in 2016. To date, he has published 11 novels and out of which his novels titled ‘Billionaire Boy’, ‘Demon Dentist’ and ‘Mr. Stink’ is a masterpiece for which, he has garnered a lot of critical acclaims.
