Guggu Gill is the legend actor of Punjabi film industry. He açted more than sixty punjabi movies. He did his schooling from Yadavindra Public Scghool, Patiala school and graduated from Patiala University. From beginning, Gill was fond to become an actor. Therefore, just after finishing the education, he indulged in Punjabi cinema. He made his debut in 1983 by playing short role in film "Putt Jattan De" where he seen in a dog fight scene. He became very famous from this role.
Moreover, he started work as a lead actor in "Gabhroo Punjab Da" (1986), "Jatt Te Zameen" (1989), "Qurbani Jatt Di" (1990) where he played the character as "Naahra". After the superhit movies, his next film "Jatt Jeona Mour" released in 1991 where he worked as Jeona Morh. The director of the film was Ravinder Ravi. The film came in limelight at the time due to the acting of Guggu. After the success of the movie, he was on cloud nine.
Apart from this, Guggu worked in a lot of other punjabi films. The list of his movies is very long.
