Kim is mostly known for his performance in television drama series Dream High which was aired in the year 2011. He has also been seen the movies like The Thieves and Secretly, Gently. Kim was interested in acting since his childhood days and took acting classes while studying in high school. In the year 2007, Kim made his debut on television on the show Kimchi Cheese Smile as a supporting actor. Later he was signed as a lead actor in the well acclaimed show named Jungle Fish. It was in the year 2009 when Kim appeared in the short film named worst Friends.

His acting skills were well appreciated by everyone and by the year 2011, Kim was a household name through a teen drama ‘Dream High’. Kim won the New Star Award for the work in Giant in the year 2010. In the same year, he won the best New Actor at 4th Korea Drama Awards. Since then Kim has won almost all category of awards presented in the country for Film and theatre. His success has established him as top Hallyu Star in all of Asia.

Kim Hyun is a young and talented actor and performs his work with full passion and enthusiasm. Kim is also a Bowling enthusiast. He even applied for a professional bowler in the year 2016. He reached the 10th position in the event where 114 other participants took part.
