Mahiya Mahi is a popular Bangladeshi movie actress, dancer, and producer. She attended Uttara High School, Dhaka for her secondary education and Dhaka City College for higher secondary education. She attended the Shanta-Marrium University of Creative Technology for her Bachelor of Science (Honors) in fashion designing.
 
The Bangladeshi beauty made her debut in acting in a movie ‘Bhalobashar Rong’ featuring one more debutante in acting Bappy Chowdhury.The film worked well on box office and was financially successful. Jaaz Multimedia often referred this movie as 1st Bangladeshi digital cinema. With the identity received with the very first movie, Mahi’s career kickstarted. She was featured in 4 movies in 2013.She was paired with Bappy Chowdhury for the film ‘Onnorokom Bhalobasha’. She was then cast against Saimon Sadik in ‘PoraMon’. She was paired with the very popular lead actor of Bangladeshi Cinema ‘Shakib Khan’ in her third movie of the year 2013 ‘Bhalobasha Aaj Kal’. The pair was very much liked by the audience. Her last movie in 2013 was ‘Tobuo Bhalobashi’ which was again with Bappy Chowdhury.
 
Out of 5 movies in 2014,’Ki Darun Dekhte’ was her first release. The movie did well at the box office. Then she was seen in women-centric crime thriller movie ‘Agnee’. The movie turned out to be hit and became one of the most financially successful commercial movies in Dhallywood history. She was cast in a comedy film ‘Dobir Saheber Songsar ‘in triple roles.It went just fine on box office. Later in the year, she worked for Bappy Chowdhury directed film ‘Honeymon’ which had Bappy Chowdhury as an actor.The remake of 1969 movie ‘'Moyna-Moti'’ titled ‘Onek Sadher Moyna’ featured her. The movie did great financially. She was seen as a journalist in the movie ‘Desha: The Leader’.
 
Romeo vs Juliet, Big Brother, Warning, Agnee 2 were her projects for the year 2015.She worked in movies like Krishnopokkho, Dhaka Attack, Onek Dame Kena, Dhaka Attack, Mone Rekho, Tui Sudhu Amar. Court Marriage, Firiye Dao Amar Prem, Mon Debo Mon Nebo, and Haar Jeet are her upcoming projects in 2018.
