Maria Menounos, beautiful, multi-talented American actress, model, journalist, author, television host, and the occasional professional wrestler is basically of Greek origin. She started working from a very small age, when she was just 13year old, she was an employee at Dunkin’ Donuts and continued working there until the age 19. She completed her studies from Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church and graduated from prestigious Emerson College in Boston. During her senior year in college, she began her career working as a reporter for Channel One’s 10-minute segment. Her works included the coverage of the 2001 earthquake in EI Salvador, and interviewing President that time George W. Bush.
 
She came into limelight after winning Miss Massachusetts Teen, USA title in 1996. She also took part in Miss Teen USA and won a special award. Later in the year 2000, she also competed for Miss Massachusetts, USA title and became the first runner-up.She is best known for her work as a TV correspondent for Today, Extra, Access Hollywood and much more and has worked in a movie Tropic Thunder cast alongside Tom Cruise in 2008. She has also worked on a popular TV Show One Tree Hill as Emily Chambers from the year 2004 to the year 2005.
 
Success didn’t stop here, in 2002 she was selected as a correspondent in Entertainment Tonight. A power pack dynamite lady later was offered a hosting gig for ET on MTV and VH-1. She wants to experience herself in every career, possibly she can, and in 2005 she left the program and started focusing on her acting career. She loves wrestling and in 2009, she made her ring debut in a six-diva tag team match and her team won the match that night.
 
She has won many reputed awards, apart from beauty pageant awards, in 2010 she won Mad TV’s Awards in the category of “Smoking Hot TV Personality”. She is the founder of the NGO “Take action Hollywood” that works on raising social awareness and improving human conditions through the film.
