Nathan Lane is an English movie, television and stage Actor, and Writer who was born on February 3, 1956, in Jersey City, New Jersey, the United States of America with the birth name Joseph Lane. 

Nathan Lane Complete Bio & Career

Nathan began his acting career during his middle school. But, he did many odd jobs before landing with a perfect acting job in New York. Initially, he played the role in Guys and Dolls. Later, he worked as a standup comedian along with Stack for consecutive years which paved way for his performance in The Merv Griffin TV show. Later, he got an opportunity to perform in the sitcom – One of the Boys. However, this show was canceled after 13 episodes. His upcoming stage shows such as Broadway and Present Laughter elevated his career to the next level in the New York City.
 
Additionally, he has also made the guest appearance in the popular comedy show Fraiser. Later he played the role of an opera singer in the TV series – Encore! Encore! Unfortunately, it was terminated after one season. In the year 1999, he lent his voice to the Snowbell character in a box office hit movie – “Stuart Little”.   
 
In the year 2003, Lane got committed to play the role of Hollywood agent in the comedy – Win a Date with Tad Hamilton. He then performed in the other movies such as Swing Vote and The Nutcracker along with the Broadway musicals namely The Nance and The Addams Family. Moreover, he was nominated for his brilliant performance in The Nance for the Tony Award.
