Neil Jones foray with dancing started at the tender age of 3. He is a trained tap. modern, ballet, Latin, and Ballroom dancer. At a very young, he also started competing at national and international levels. He has not just represented the UK but the Netherlands, and Finland as well during the course of his competetive career. He holds as many as 45 dance titles which includes Eight times Dutch National, Eight times British National, and 4 times Latin World Championship among others.
He met Russian dancer Katya Jones at Blackpool in the year 2008. Since then have partnered at various competetions and are undefeated 4-time British National Champions. They together holds the record for winning the World Amateur Latin Championships thrice. He and his then wife Katya Jones joined the BBC celebrity dancing show called Strictly Come Dancing in the year 2016.After sitting on stand by for the first 2 seasons, he finally paired with footballer Alex Scott in the 17th season of Strictly Come Dancing. He appeared with his ex-wife at the Donahey's Dancing with The Stars Weekend in 2019.
