Pankhuri Awasthy Complete Bio & Career

Pankhuri Awasthy, hailing from Lucknow, is presently an actress in the Indian Television Industry. She got her schooling done from Bluebells International for about four years and then finished her graduation in Bachelor of Arts(Honours) in English from Hindu College. Before entering into the industry, she did an Assistant Manager in a company based in Bengaluru. She was always into acting as it is evident from the fact that she was part of the drama society and did numerous plays with various other professional theatre groups. Apart from acting, she finds peace in reading and writing.
 
She made her first onscreen debut in a Television serial YehhaiAashique- Mini Disaster Series, in which she played the role of Saima. Then, she essayed a role of Seher in MTV Fanaah Season 2. She became the most popular with her tremendous performance in a role of Razia Sultan in the historic drama Razia Sultan, which aired on AndTv. She won million hearts for her performance and was offered a great role of mythological character ‘Draupadi’ in SuryaputraKarna.
 
Recently, she has bagged a role in KyaKasoorHaiAmalaKa?, which is the Hindi remake of the popular Turkish TV drama, Fatmagul. She is essaying the role of a rape victim in the serial, which deals with intrigue emotions and approaches the sensitive subject of a violation of the innocence of a woman. She is a strong woman and believes in fighting against the evils prevalent in society. She is confident enough to raise her voice and take actions against such evils.
 
She desires to be on the big screen someday and known for her strong substantial performances rather than her beautiful looks. She believes that acting has taught her many practical things in life.
