Pebbles Complete Bio & Career
Pebbles is the 80's, famous singer, who has earned name and fame by her hit songs between 1980-90. Her actual name is "Perri Arlette Reid," but she got famous because of the name "Pebbles." She began her career with her first work assignment with the band "(Bill Summers and the funk band Con Funk Shun)" as a "backing vocalist." She wrote a single "Body Lovers" for the "Con Funk Shun." She had given many commercial hit "Singles" between 1980-90 like “Mercedes Boy","Giving You the Benefit","Love Makes Things Happen" and "Girlfriend".
Pebbles started her own production company named "Pebbitone" in the year 1989. And her production company managed and controlled "TLC" signed by the “L.A. Reid's record label and LaFace Records". In 1995 when TLC got bump (Bankrupt) they filed the bankruptcy against pebbitone by allegation on Pebbles name of mismanaging the funds. Pebbles and her production company pebbitone filed the lawsuit of $10 million against "LaFace" for damaging the image.
She founded the religious program "Women of God Changing Lives Ministries" with her new stage name of “Sister Perri" in 1997. After a 13 years break from music industry she released her 4th and even her debutant "Gospel" album "Prophetic Flows" and it's ( Vol I & II). At the "Billboard Gospel Album Chart" this album ranked at the 12th position. She hosted and produced the "Essence's national R&B search" in Feb 2011.
