Preeti Desai Complete Bio & Career

Preeti Desai was raised in the UK. She shot to fame after winning the Miss Great Britain title in 2007 and by winning that title, she made history by becoming the first ever woman Indian origin woman to ever be crowned by that title. She after winning the title was named the ambassador of Great Britain. She simultaneously continued her modeling career as well. During this time, she also learned acting by attending workshops and enrolling for acting courses.
 
She came to India in the year 2008 and joined hands with famous celebrity photographer named Atul Kasbekar. Within a couple of years, she earned the title of a ‘Super Model’. She was seen endorsing various products and also seen on the cover page of leading fashion magazines.
 
After enjoying a highly successful modeling career, she finally made her debut with the highly acclaimed thriller drama, Shor in the City in the year 2011. She played the lead role in one of the stories of the film and her performance was highly appreciated not just by critics but by audiences as well. The film was showcased at various international film festivals and also won her the nomination for Best Actress at the South Asian Rising Star Film Awards, held in New York in 2012. She was then seen in comedy film One By Two in 2014. Many of her films are in post-production and will be released in a year or two.
