Priti Sapru is a well-known actress from Bollywood and Punjabi Cine industry who was seen in many of the super hit movies of Bollywood. She went to St.Joseph's High School in Bombay for her schooling. She began her career at the very young age of 13 years. She appeared first time on screen in movie ‘Habari’. She has beautiful eyes which grabbed the attention of the audience. Her acting skills made her receive offers for the movies including Lawaris, Avtaar etc. She shared the screen with legendary actors of Bollywood including Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan, and Jitendra. She worked as a lead female actress in many Punjabi movies. She also worked in supporting roles in Hindi movies.
 
She pioneered the album activity with "Bhangra Gidda" in 1990.She is an innovative thinker. She also wrote the stories for movies like "Zameen –Asmaan" featuring Sanjay Dutt, Shashi Kapoor, Anita Raaj, Rekha etc. She continued with her work and turned to direction and production. She is the producer and director of Punjabi films like 'Qurbani Jatt Di'. Even the story was written by her. The movie did well at box office and the audience appreciated the movie. She started and launched ‘Alpha’ channel which was a Punjabi channel and part of Zee. Apart from films, she is an active social worker and worked for the social causes. She helped in relieving the earthquake victims of Jammu & Kashmir. She is a strong follower of Prime minister Narendra Modi. She is following him from the time when he was just a BJP candidate. She is impressed with the growth of Gujarat under his leadership. She has a close relationship with Arun Jaitley and his wife Mrs. Sangeeta Arun Jaitley. She had campaigned for him. Producer Dakshina Nath and director Shaina Nath are her nieces. Actor Karan Nath is her nephew. She married an architect Upvan Sudarshan Ahluwalia and the couple is blessed with two twin daughters named Rene Walia and Riya Walia.
