Ryan Murphy is a well-known man. He is mainly famous for writing, directing, and producing many series and movies. These series range from drama series to anthology series. Some of the famous ones include the ones like American Horror Story,  and the movie Eat, Pray, Love.The writer grew up in the state of Indiana in the United States. After he attended school, he went the Indiana University located in Bloomington. In that school, he earned a degree in journalism. After he received his degree of four years, he worked for various newspapers including New York Daily News and Entertainment Weekly. 
 
His first breakthrough event in screenwriting happened when the very famous director Steven Spielberg purchased a script written by him. The script was called Why Can’t I Be Audrey Hepburn?. In the year 2009, the show which he co-created aired. It was called Glee. For this show, he won his first Primetime Emmy Award which was awarded to him for the pilot episode. 
 
His role in movies included writing the screenplay for the film Running with Scissors. He also directed this same film as well. He has also directed the movie Eat, Pray, Love which has grossed an amount of more than $200,000,200 dollars. This movie was subject to a lot of criticism regarding the pace of the movie and the credibility of it. However, it did reach a certain amount of fame due to this.
