Sia Furler Complete Bio & Career

Sia Furler’s full name is Sia Kate Isobelle Furler. Since her father was involved with music and mother with arts, she was exposed to music from a very young age. She started her music career by performing with a band named Crisp. After performing with them for 4-5 years, she decided to go independent and released her solo in the year 1997. However, she couldn’t find any success and decided to relocate to the UK. 
 
After finding some success, she was contracted by Sony group’s subsidiary Dance Pool in the year 2000. She released her solo debut album titled Healing Is Difficult the very same year. Some of that album’s track such as “Little Man”, and “Drink to Get Drunk” became a dance club staple and she shot to fame with her debut album. She soon falls out with her label, she was signed by Go! Beat Records and relocated to the US from the UK. Her next album Colour The Small One released in 2004. The album didn’t receive the same response but her song "Breathe Me" became a smash hit. This song featured on HBO’s famous series Six Feet Under. Her album 1000 Forms of Fear was her first album to reach the top spot in the U.S. Charts. This album’s song "Chandelier" won her a lot of accolades and Grammy nominations as well. 
 
From her next studio album titled This is Acting, 2 songs titled ‘The Greatest’ and ‘Cheap Thrills’ became a smash hit. Her last album Everday is Christmas released in 2017 and received the same response as her previous albums. She has also done world tours and has also performed and wrote the soundtracks from some of the famous films such as The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010), Fifty Shades of Grey (2015) and Fifty Shades Freed (2018) among various others.
