Solomon Pappaiah Complete Bio & Career
Solomon Pappaiah was the ninth child of his parents Mrs.S.Pakkiam and Mr.A.Sundaram. His father financial condition was not as good as they could help him in his studies because his father was a simple worker in a mill. However, he did not lose his hope to continue his studies further. Despite he succeeded to arrange the financial help from his friend to do further studies.
The American College professor Jothi Muthu who helped to develop his passion for the language. Later on, he enrolled in the Thiagarajar College to do the Post-Graduation course in Tamil language and he was the part of the college first-batch of M.A Tamil students. In 1960 when he joined The American College as a teacher. Ultimately, he built a social renewal in the development of Patti -mandrams.
At that, he was involved in the writing as well as handling the direction of the plays at the college events. He is well known for his sweet voice and also be considered as the down to earth person who is having a very attractive speaking style. His command on the Tamil language allowed him to take the complex-literary matters over to the common person. This has allowed him to exercise social ideas to the crowds and bring about a social arousal in the growth of Patti-mandrams in the Tamil Nadu. He is also famous for leading debate in Tamil language talk shows, aired on Sun TV for a long time ago. He has so far led over 5,000 debates shows worldwide.
