He began his career from the year 2014 and made his debut as a music composer through the film Tanu Weds Manu Returns in the year 2015. He composed the superhit song "Banno" in this film along with Vayu Srivastava who wrote the lyrics of the song.
Since then there has been no llooking back for him and has delivered hits after hits since then. His career graph has been in upward trend since then. He won the Best Music Composer awared for the film Badrinath Ki Dulhania in 2018.
