Alisar Ailabouni relocated to Austria when she was just two years old and was raised in  Schörfling am Attersee and Amstetten. While she was in school she participated in a school drama group and portrayed the lead role of Juliet in Shakespeare's famous play, Romeo and Juliet.
 
She applied for an open casting call in Munich, Germany.  Ailabouni did well and advanced till the top 18 and very soon started bossing the competition by winning various castings. However, her personality was shy and often the judges used to question her limelight capacity and she was seen struggling at times when she was given a task to perform which was not her forte or out of her comfort zone.
 
Ailabouni relocated to Paris where she was contracted by a modelling agency of Peyman Amin called PARS. Peyman Amin served as a judge on GNTM but quit the show before Alisar even participated.  Simultaneously, she was also signed by various other modelling agencies such as City Models in Paris, Eskimo Models, Red in New York, Elite Model Management in London and Fashion model in Milan.
 
She has also appeared on television as herself for the television film titled 'Deutschland began Österreich - Das Duell'.
 
In her modelling career, she has walked the ramp for G-Star SS2011 collection in New York Fashion Week and walked in the Berlin Fashion Week in the next season. She has also featured in Vogue Italia's 2012 issue. In 2012, she did catwalk for 17 different fashion brands at New York fashion week.
