Anaitha Nair Complete Bio & Career

Anaitha Nair completed her schooling from The Frank Anthony Public School in Bangalore and obtained her graduate degree from the Bangalore University. After completion of her studies, she relocated to Mumbai to build a career in acting. She made her acting debut with the Malayalam film By the People in 2005. Her roles were brief but were effective. She rose to prominence after making her Bollywood debut with Shimit Amin’s film Chak De India in 2007. The film was a huge hit and she is along with 16 other girls became famous as ‘Chak De Girls’. Chak De Girls for their magnificent performance won the Best Supporting Actress Award.
 
After which, she was seen in British Indian comedy series titled Mumbai Calling in 2008. She then featured in various acclaimed Bollywood films like Well Done Abba, Nagesh Kukunoor’s Aashayein in which, she portrayed the cancer patient’s role. She was then seen in DumMaaro Dum and Jhootha Hi Sahi. She was last seen in Nishant Kamat’s Force.
 
In addition to Hindi, she gave occasional appearance on the Malayalam films like IG and Of the People. Besides acting, she was also associated with a music band named S 5 and an album titled “Isai” was released by the band. She also appeared in numerous television commercials like Dairy Milk, Virgin Mobile, Nescafe, Dove and Acer among others.
