Anastasia Baranova Complete Bio & Career

Anastasia Baranova moved to Minnesota, the US from Russia in the year 1998 with her mother. A couple of years later, she then relocated to California and started her acting career. Since she couldn’t speak English; she took singing and speech classes. She also used the Jump Start CD-ROM series to gain fluency in the English language.
 
She finally started her acting career with a brief role in Disney Channel’s noted series Lizzie McGuire in the year 2002. She was cast alongside Hillary Duff in this series. After which, she was cast in to play a lead role in another Disney series titled Scout’s Safari. Her portrayal of character Jennifer Lauer made her a household name. She was with the series from 2002 to 2004.
 
Meanwhile, she also appeared in other shows like Joan of Arcadia, Sons Of Anarchy, Drake & Josh, Malcolm in the Middle, Veronica Mars, and 7th Heaven. She made her silver screen debut with the film titled Rise: Blood Hunter in the year 2007. Since 2014, she has been a part of the horror comedy drama series tilted Z Nation.
