Barack Hussein Obama is widely known as Barack Obama. He was born on 4 August 1961. He is a politician and attorney based in America who held the post of president of the United States from 2009-2017. Barack Obama was a member of the Democratic Party. He also served as the U.S senator. He received his education from Punahou School and for pursuing higher education; he went to Columbia University, Harvard University, and attended Occidental College.
 
After completing his graduation, he served in Chicago as a community organizer. He taught law in 1992 to the students of the University of Chicago law school. He also served as the civil rights attorney. Many bills were signed by Obama during his first two years. The main bills passed by him include the Dodd-Frank Wall Street reform, the consumer protection act, and Patient protection and affordable care act. He in his presidency reduced the number of nuclear weapons. Military involvement also came to halt in the Iraq war. It was his order only that led to the death of Osama Bin Laden. He legalized same-sex marriage in 2015. He supported a ban on the use of Assault weapons. America’s image improved under his guidance.
 
Obama was also a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ. He primarily focussed on reforming the health care system in America. He was the only president who turned down public financing on 19 June 2008. He also competed for the re-election and won again with 332 votes on 6 November 2012. He focussed on education and innovation. In order to make the United States competitive in the global world, he emphasized the concept of innovation economics.He passed the American recovery and reinvestment act in 2009. Consequently, expenditure increased in education, infrastructure, and health care. He passed new regulations on 30 September 2009 for the factories to put a check on Global Warming. He also initiated proposals regarding gun control. He improved the cybersecurity infrastructure by signing executive order 13636.
