Bhanu Sree was born and raised in Hyderabad. Her actual name is Bhanu Shree Reddy Sonta. Since childhood, she has made up her mind to become an actress. She made her acting debut through Telugu series Jabilamma in the year 2015. After that, she was seen in yet another acclaimed Telugu series Vani Rani. She finally made her film debut through Telugu film Katamarayudu in the year 2016. In a film that has stars like Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Hasan, she hardly got noticed. She finally made her debut as a lead actress through Telugu film Iddari Madhya 18 in the year 2017. The film failed to pick momentum at the box-office. The same year, she appeared in few more Telugu film such as Marla Puli, and Kumari 21F. However, all her films failed at the box-office. and she couldn't attract any other film offers towards her. In 2018, she participated in Bigg Boss Telugu season 2.
