Robert William "Bobby" Flay is a celebrity chef. He has also hosted several popular cookery shows on Food Network. He was born to Bill and Dorothy Flay. He loved cooking from a young age and liked to make snacks after school. He had not to interest in studies. He dropped out of school at the age of 17. He attended the French culinary Institute and gained his degree in culinary arts with the help of Joe Allen.
In 1982, he started a job making salads at Joe Allen Restaurant in New York. Then he started working at the Brighton Grill as an executive chef. Then he worked as a chef at Bud and Jams in restaurateur Jonathan Waxman. He introduced southwestern and Cajun cuisine to him. In 1988, He started working as the executive chef at the Miracle Grill under Jerome Kretchmer.
Then he made him a partner in Mesa Grill in 1991. In 1993 the man opened Bolo Bar & Restaurant along with a partner. Then he continued adding more restaurants to his chain. His famous restaurants include a second Mesa Grill in Las Vegas in 2004, Bar American in 2005, and a third Mesa Grill in the Bahamas in 2007. Then in July 2008 first Bobby’s Burger Place was opened in New York. Then with over some time, he opened branches of the restaurants at seven more locations.
