Brian Justin Crum first came into limelight by participating in America's Got Talent and then as a cherry top secured fourth place. Before participating in this talent show, he was taken by the music and performed it in Broadways. His first Broadway musical was Wicked. He then went on to be a part of the musical association like Next to Normal, Altar Boyz, and Grease.
 
With the support of his mother, he toured around the country for various Broadway and shows. Though he was a known face in theatre acting because of his performances on Broadway, America's Got Talent gave him to explore more of his ability and hone his skills. He became a budding star and was booked for live performances and various other events.
 
He gave a guest appearance in hit drama Law and Order. His most remembered performances are Break: The Musical and  Brian Justin Crum & Janel Parrish: Lay Me Down. As he was a part of Next To Normal, it won the Pulitzer Prize for drama which kept him aware of the changes and growth of his career. School Of Creative And Performing Arts gave him a perfect clarity about his career choice and channel his talent in a professional way.
 
He came out as gay and supported his sexuality on the talent show to inspire people and credited his mother for helping him through the hardships he faced and also supporting him for his career choice. He now is one of the biggest supporters of LGBT community.
