Carmen Villalobos is an actress and fashion model from Colombia.
She came to spotlight for her supporting roles in telenovelas like Amores de Mercado and La Tormenta. She rose to prominence when she was cast in the popular show ‘Senos no hay Paraiso’. She portrayed the role of Catalina Santana, a prostitute with big dreams and ambitions and sought breast augmentation in for the sake of escaping poverty. The show was an RTI Colombia-Telemundo adaptation of ‘Sin tetas no hay paraiso’. She appeared alongside Catherine Siachoque, Juan Diego Sanchez and Maria Fernanda Yepes in the series that aired for one season with 238 episodes. Her role as a poor schoolgirl who comes from a humble background and is literally forced to attend a school which is rich-kid where the other students were out of control in the Telemundo series ‘Ninos Ricos, Pobres Padres’ was widely appreciated. Carmen also appeared on the Telemundo telenovela titled, ‘Mi corazon insiste en Lola Volcan’. She was also cast in the RTI Colombia/ Telemundo telenovela ‘Ojo por ojo’. She was also the part of American telenovela directed by Luis Zelkowicz ‘El Senor de Los Cielos’. Her other notable roles include ‘Las Princesas’, and ‘Sin senos si hay paraiso’. She has been a part of Sin senos sí hay paraíso since 2016 and is still working in that telenovela.
She won the ‘I’m Sexy and I Know It’ Award at the Your World Awards for her role in ‘Sin senos si hay paraiso’. Apart from this, she has also received other nominations at Miami Life Awards, Premios People en Espanol Awards. She was included on the list of ‘50 Most Beautiful’ by People en Espanol in 2009. After working for almost 2 decades on the small screen,she finally made her silver screen debut through the Dominican drama comedy film titled El fantasma de mi novia in the year 2018.
