He is an American actor known for playing Porter Scavo in the TV series Desperate Housewives, Ethan on Teen Wolf and Scott Frost in The Leftovers.
 
Charlie Carver was brought up in California with his twin brother Max Carver who is often portrayed as the twin of his characters. He attended St. Paul’s Boarding School but left to pursue an education in Interlochen Arts Academy, Michigan. He graduated from The American Conservatory Theatre, San Francisco.
 
He started acting at an early age when he was just an eighth-grader in the school play of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream where he played Puck the fairy trickster. He debuted onscreen with his twin on Desperate Housewives as the Salco twins, the children of Tom and Lynette Salco. He even played one of the twin werewolves along with his brother on MTV’s Teen Wolf. He played the role of Ethan. Next, they acted in the first season of The Leftovers (HBO series). He guest starred in The League and Hawaii Five-O. He’s been acting in movies like Underdogs, Bad Asses, I Am Michael and First Fight. He will be playing the role of Snug in the upcoming movie A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In 2017, he has been acting in television shows like When We Rise and Blooms.
 
He was nominated for Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series for Desperate Housewives.
