In this film, he played as Justin Diaz who is the son of Frank Diaz (John Leguizamo) and Angela Diaz (Leonor Varela), and Raphael Santiago in the series Shadowhunters.

David Castro Complete Bio & Career

David Castro was born in Long Island, New York City and his father is a Puerto Rican and mother is Italian American descent. He is brother to three elder sisters and one elder brother who currently lives in New York City. His acting career began when he was at the age of 5 when he did the Sponge Bob commercial with national Nickelodeon.
 
Castro started his acting debut in 2004 in the film Palindromes and then appeared in independent films in 2006. His independent films include A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints and Little Fugitive, with his sibling Raquel Castro. He also featured in the independent film Tracks of Color and Where God Left his shoes in 2007. He was critically acclaimed for his role in Tracks of Color. He also did a role in films 27 Dresses with Katherine Heigl in 2008 and later in the film The Ministers in 2009 with John Leguizamo. He also starred in Forged along with Many Perez directed by William Wedig.
 
Castro also played a Rock and Roll singer in the upcoming movie Ruta Madre soon to be released. He currently plays Raphael Santiago in "Shadowhunters which is one of his biggest accomplishments to date.
