She represents Chicago Sky in the Women’s National Basketball Association and has also represented United States Women’s National Basketball Team. She is best known for her towering height.

Elena Delle Donne started her basketball career when she was in Ursuline Academy and her stint with basketball in her high school made her famous all over U.S.A. After completion of her high school, she joined the University of Delaware. There she started playing Volleyball but in early 2009 she made up her mind and started playing Basketball. In mid-2009 she started her professional career by playing basketball for Blue Hens.
 
In the year 2013, she was inducted in WNBA draft and was picked by the Chicago Sky. She was one of the most talented girls around in this event. She made a remarkable debut by scoring 22 points in her debut match.The very same year she was named the Rookie of the Year Award. Two years later she was conferred with the WNBA Most Valuable Player Award in 2015.
 
After making her mark in her club career she was included in the squad of United States Women’s National Basketball team to represent the United States at the 2016 Summer Olympics held in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. She did not disappoint and won her country the Gold Medal at the event. This is thus far the biggest achievement of her distinguished career.
