Born on 22 Dec 1987, Everson Griffin is a football player. He completes his graduation from Agua Fria high school. Terrell Suggs was his Idol. He started playing football from his school days only. He played as a lineman in school for the team named, Owls High football team. He also has the honor to his credit like Super Prep All American, Super Prep player of the year, Prep star 100, and many more. He was named in the list of top performers in the state events.
 
On Witnessing his performance in school, He was selected for the U.S Army All American Bowl in 2007. In 2007, He appeared in 13 games. Griffen USC coach was Pete Carroll. Griffen announced his intension to entre the 2010 NFL draft. Minnesota Vikings selected Griffin for the fourth round of 2010 NFL draft and he became the 100 players to be selected overall. He received a blow when he was arrested in Los Angeles due to public intoxication. He was also arrested for driving with an invalid driving license. On joining Minnesota Vikings, He wanted to help their team to set a record of 26.9 Kickoff average. 18 special teams belonging to him made it to the second position under the leadership of Eric Frampton. Griffen was given a leave from the team owing to his mother’s death on Oct 11, 2012. In the international series game held in London, Griffen recorded the game against Pittsburgh Steelers. In 2014, Griffen again entered into a contract with Vikings for a five years term. The contract worth was $42.5 Million. After recording six sacks in just four games, Griffen was named as NFC defensive player of the month. Griffin became the first player in a Mike Zimmer who recorded double-digit sacks in back to back seasons.
 
Minnesota had a win against Rivals, Green Bay Packers and consequently, they opened their new stadium with Griffen. Sacks and a forced fumble. Griffen's performance was so good that his peers ranked 92nd on the NFL top 100 players of 2017. In 2019 Griffen played against Atlanta Falcons. In 2020, Griffen made his exit from the contract and became a free agent.
