Felix Kroos is the younger brother of veteran footballer Toni Kroos. Like his brother, he too started playing football from a very early age. At the tender age of 6, he joined Greifswalder SV youth club and stayed there for the next 5 years. From 2002 to 2008, he played for FC Hansa Rostock. In 2008, he was transferred to Hansa Rostock II and made his club debut for them against VfL Wolfsburg on 28-01-2009. In 2010, he inked a deal with Werder Bremen and played for then during the UEFA Champions League 2010. He played for them till 2016 before being transferred to Union Berlin in 2016. Since 2016, he has been playing for them and even after some prolific performances, he hasn't been able to get a berth in the German national team
