G Hannelius spent her early days in Maine. From a very young age, her love for the entertainment industry was evident. She started to pursue her dream of becoming an actress by starting her stint with acting by working in local theatre plays. She landed a lead role of "Madeline", in "Madeline's Rescue" and the role of "Jenny" in the "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing" while she was just eight years old.
 
Her parent’s realized their daughter has the star potential and that she loves to perform, her parents took her to Los Angeles in 2008. Unfortunately, the year saw the recession and indeed was not the right time for the entertainment industry. After she relocated to Los Angeles despite the conditions of the entertainment industry, she was less affected as she kept on getting offers. She got her first major break through a television commercial for the "Aquarium of the Pacific". She got noticed through the commercial and was signed for a regular role on the Bob Saget series called Surviving Suburbia. She was a part of the series for 13 episodes. The series happened in 2009.
 
Soon after the series was done, she was immediately signed by a Disney Channel. Their executive spotted her on the "Aquarium of the Pacific" commercial and decided to cast her out for various projects in Disney’s productions. She was contracted to them for three years from 2009 to 2012 and was seen in starring roles in hit series, including I'm in the Band, Good Luck Charlie, and Sonny with a Chance, Hannah Montana.
 
Off screen, she loves writing songs and also loves to play a musical instrument such as piano. She loves doing horseback riding, fencing, juggling, acrobatics, and ballet. She is an avid supporter of the organization called "A Window Between Worlds". This organization promotes art and acts of domestic violence.
