She started acting in 2004 with the show named Conviction in which she played the role of Angela Fairley. Eventually, she did a lot of TV shows thereafter. In 2013 and 2014, she was nominated at the British Soap Awards for the Sexiest Female Award for her role in the Coronation Street. In the FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women ranking, she was given the 98th position. Keegan came at 1st position and she featured alongside Foote.
Foote participated in a reality show Strictly Come Dancing aired from September 2015. This was the thirteenth series of BBC celebrity talent show. Her partner was a professional dancer Giovanni Pernice and they were the joint runners-up in the competition along with Kevin Clifton and Kellie Bright.
