Anzai made her debut in show business in the year 1996.  It was for the Gravure Idol. She became very popular and a lot of her photos were published in magazines and covers. She soon got offers for TV shows and movies. Some of her major TV dramas include ‘Days’, ‘The Gift’, ‘Star No Koi’, ‘Kyu-Kyu heart JiryouShitsu’ etc. which became very popular. 
 
Anzai soon switched to modeling and appeared mostly in the Teen Magazines. She also became very popular among the youth and was mostly a fashion icon. She also featured in several TV variety programs such as ‘BiKiNi’, ‘Koi no Tune-Up!’, ‘Jabekuri 007’, ‘Gogoichi’ etc. She also featured in commercials which included popular brands like ‘Coca-Cola Japan’, ‘Toshiba’, ‘Japan Red Cross’ etc. to name a few. She also made her music debut in the year 2000 with Avex Group that also featured other popular stars. She released popular singles like ‘True Love’, ‘Let You Go’ and ‘Necessary’. She has also starred in two movies. She has also entered the field of writing by writing blogs since the year 2009.
 
Anzai had been in a relationship with Kaname Kawabata who is a part of the ‘CHEMISTRY’ band. The long relationship was called off in the year 2007. She also has an interest in Judo and Swimming. In most of her interviews, she mentioned about the strict Judo practice at her high school where she mostly retained her place within the top 8 spots. She has been a popular Japanese model.
