Jacob "Jake" Quickenden is a famous English singer and a well-known reality television personality. His career graph incorporates football and media both. He plays football as a forward or a winger. He started his football career when he was young and played for Scunthorpe United. But after a broken leg, his chances to be in hometown club as a player ended. He gave trials in Australia after recovering from the injury. He played in Australia for 2 years. He then played in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League, Premier Division for Frickley Athletic. He had also played for Lincolnshire club in the Northern Counties East Football League. He refused the offer to play for Gainsborough Trinity and joined Ossett Town in 2017.
 
His career in media has also been great. He started his media career with a talent show ‘The X Factor’ (Ninth series). He sang "Use Somebody" at auditions and was able to impress the judges. He then sang  "How to Save a Life" with Robbie Hance and Adam Burridge. He was put in Boy’s category with Jahmene Douglas, Burridge, Rylan Clark, Nathan Fagan-Gayle, Jahméne Douglas. He was not able to win the show. He again appeared for 11th series of the show and sang "All of Me" and "Say Something". He performed on “Who You Are" in arena audition and then was put in Boys category under the mentorship of Mel B. He cleared next round and got an opportunity to perform in live shows with Paul Akister and Andrea Faustini. He was later eliminated in the 3rd week of the show. He had worked as a presenter on the Chart Show TV channel.
 
He participated in the fourteenth series of famous reality show ‘ I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!’ entering the jungle with former politician Edwina Currie on Day 5 in competition.He turned up as a runner-up on the show.He had made many media appearances.He was seen in TV shows such as This Morning, Alan Carr's New Year Specstacular, The National Television Awards, Reality Bites, Lorraine, The Wright Stuff, Weekend, Big Brother's Bit on the Side, Seven Days with.., Dish Up: An Easier Way to Cook, The Jump etc.He is seen as a contestant on ‘Dancing on Ice’ with professional German figure skater Vanessa Bauer in 2018. "I Want You", "Blindfold", "Can't Stand the Rain", "Feel My Love", "Get Away with Me", and "Black Mirror” are few of his singles.
