Jamie Oliver, the full name is James Trevor "Jamie" Oliver, is a recognised British chef who best known for his typical English cuisine and his television series ‘The Naked Chef’, which was produced by Optomen Television and aired on BBC. He is born to Trevor and Sally Oliver, who ran a restaurant named The Cricketers. At the age of 8, he first started cooking at his father’s restaurant or pub.At the age of 16, he attended Westminster Catering College after leaving his school with two GCSE qualifications in Geology and Art.
His debut in television industry was when he appeared in a documentary while working at the River Café in London.His first job was in Antonio Carluccio's restaurant, Neal's Yard, where he was a pastry chef.
He started the campaign against the unhealthy food named Feed Me Better and supported for having healthier diets in school for children.
He was dyslexic and that only after 38 years of his life, he completed reading a book for the first time. For the last two and a half years, he has been travelling and learning why and how some of the oldest people in the world are able to live so long. He is travelling to places for this research.
In 2000, He was named the sexiest chef alive by People. In an interview, he told that his comfort food is a bacon sandwich and that he likes listening Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Coldplay and The White Stripes while he is cooking.
Recently his cookbook, Everyday Super Food, was releasing and now he owns 20 cookbooks under his name. After JK Rowling, he is the Best-selling author. He is the head of five restaurants named Barbecoa, Fifteen, Jamie's Italian, Union Jacks, and Jamie Oliver's Diner. All of them is in U.K.
