She was quite proactive in umpteen shows while pursuing her graduate degree from UCLA. The talented actress was a part of several shows including some in Japan and some others that were extremely popular and were telecast on the Disney Channel. The actress became quite popular for her role in the recently released successful movie Suicide Squad. In the movie, she was appreciated for her role as Katana. This movie was the talk of the town before its release.
In an interview with the Vogue magazine, she talked about her role as the Superheroine in the movie. She narrated her experience on how she managed to get through the auditions where she was supposed to use a sword. During the shoot, she had to put on a mask on her face, fix her hair with Dax Wax. The most distinguishing feature of her makeup for the movie were Battle scars which were shown on her entire body.
The actress is a brown belt holder in karate and before the release of her superhero movie she had to undergo extensive training nearly for two months to know how to wield a sword accurately. The actress is also proficient in Martial arts and holds a brown belt in Karate. Currently, She is working on another movie named Stray which is scheduled to be released this year.
