Kent Boyd is known for playing the role of Rascal in Teen Beach as well as Teen Beach 2 films by the Disney Channel movies. He participated in the So You Think You Can Dance the seventh season. He became the Runner-Up of the show behind the winner Lauren Froderman. He began his dancing at the age of 8 in the school musical events. He has launched his clothing line by the name "Sugar and Bruno" in 2011.
However, he is willing to become an actor, so in this regard, he is going around the country for taking the acting classes, attending the Dance- Conventions and teaching the different combos. In 2013, he made his acting debut from the film "Drama Stepping High".He appeared in the series "Bunheads" ( ABC Family series) in which he portrayed the recurring role of Jordan.
