He was born in a political affluent family and hence took the reigns of North Korea at a very early age. After, he was announced as great successor has took over the charge of Central Military Commission, of North Korea and is today the commander in chief of North Korea. In 2012, he was promoted to Marshal of North Korea and is often referred as Marshal Kim Jong-un. He is a dictator and is often accused that elections conducted in North Korea are not fair and also he has made sure that there ain't any freedom of religion in North Korea. He is so powerful that even North Korean can't report anything against him or his country without his permission. 
 
He is also accused of killing millions of people who has revolted against him. His labour and prison camp is a convict camp where he has prisoned and killed millions who went against him. He is accused of human rights violation time and again but no action has been taken against him. In his rule the people of North Korea lives under a threat as he has terrorized people of his country.  He was involved in assassination of his half brother named Kim Jong-nam in the year 2017. He has expanded nuclear program in his country and has threatened various countries as well. In 2019, he created a history after he became the first man from North Korea to have talks with a sitting U.S. president to discuss the North Korean nuclear program.
