The complete package lady Kimora Lee Simmons is born in a family with African-American father named Vernon Whitlock, Jr., and mother Joanne Perkins who is Japanese. She is a complete package as she is a model, fashion designer, actress and businessperson by profession.
 
Her modelling career started when she got the contract for modelling at the age of 14 and this was a result of her enrollment in modelling class by her mother when she was 11. After signing the contract, she moved on to Paris to work for Channel designer Karl Lagerfeld. Soon after completing the Lagerfeld’s shows with a role of a child bride in the show, she became popular and her sensation spread all across the country.
 
The model entered the fashion line when she met and married Russell Simmons at St. Bart’s. She along with her husband took the project of creating baby clothing from the clothing line and other clothing as well such as baby t-shirts, women wear etc. Expanding their business, they started dealing with big companies and soon became a business tycoon. 
 
She expanded her career in the television industry in 2003, where she was judging the fashion shows. She also gave her glimpses in many big films of America. Then she came with a new talent where her book was published in 2006, titled as “Fabulosity: What it is and how to get it.”
