Kuldip Nayar was born on 14-08-1923 in Sialkot in the state of Punjab, Pakistan. He was an Indian Journalist, Columnist, Activist, Writer, Author & Diplomat.

Kuldip Nayar Complete Bio & Career

Kuldip Nayar earlier education from Sialkot (Pakistan). He got "The degree of journalism" from the U.S.A. and after he did his "Ph.D." in "Philosophy". After working many years on the position of "Press Information Officer" of the "Government of India", he has been associated with (U.N.I., PIB), 'The Statisticsman', 'Indian Express' for a long time. He was also the journalist of 'The Times' London for twenty-five years.
 
Initially, Nayar was an Urdu press reporter. He was editor of Delhi's newspaper The Statesman. And he was arrested at the end of the Indian Emergency (1975-77). He was also a human rights activist and peace activist. He was a member of India's delegation to the United Nations in 1996. In 1990 he was appointed High Commissioner in Great Britain, was nominated in the Rajya Sabha in August 1997. He writes columns and app-eds in 14 languages for more than 80 newspapers including Deccan Herald (Bengaluru), The Daily Star, The Sunday Guardian, The News, The Statesman, The Express Tribune Pakistan, Don Pakistan, Prabakshakshi.'Between the Lines', 'Distant Never: A Tale of the Sub Continent', 'India After Nehru', 'Wal at Wagah, India Pakistan Relationship', 'India House', 'Scoop' (all English). 
 
The autobiography of Kuldeep Nayer, published in the name of ('The Day Looks Old'), is also quite popular. From the year 1985, the syndicated columns written by him have been published in more than "eight hundred paper"s of the world. Along with being a "pseudo-secularist" on Kuldeep Nayar, accusations of anti-Hindu rituals take place from time to time. Nayyar also said that "Prime Minister Vajpayee" should make laws that make a national self-service excluded for higher posts. For Anna Hazare's campaign in a prestigious national daily, Nayyar said that it would have been better if they kept the movement different from the fast, and it was right that they got angry on Team Anna members. He said that these people wanted to take this dramatic step to draw awareness acknowledging that Anna himself had accepted that fasting was his own wish and not anyone else's. Anna has said that he is not a child. They do the same work whose deposition gives their soul.
 
In his life "Kuldip Nayar' has awarded with many prestigious awards and some of the awards like "The Sant Namdev National Award"( 2014 )was given to him by the" organization of the border". Earlier this award has been conferred to "Vijaykumar Chopra", "Montek Singh Ahluwalia", "Jatinder Pannu", "Satyapal Singh","S. S. Virk","KPS Gill" , "Yash Chopra",  and even "Gulzar".On November 23, 2015, senior journalist and writer Kuldip Nayar were awarded the "Ramnath Goenka Smriti Award" by Union Minister Arun Jaitley for "lifetime achievement "in journalism."Kuldip Nayar died on 23rd Aug 2018. Due to his death, the era has come to an end.
