Kyler Murray studied at Texas, Allen High School. In 2014, being a senior player he became the "Gatorade-Football-Player of the Year. His team even won three state championships as well as winning 43 games. However, he was ranked as a five-star beginner as well as qualified "dual-threat" quarterback in his state by ESPN and 24x 7 sports.  He played baseball and was acknowledged as one of the top candidates for the Major League Baseball draft in 2015.
 
During his time in high school, he played as a shortstop as well as a second-baseman. He was the one who was elected for both the Under Armour All-America Baseball as well as Football Games.
