Lucy Hawking Complete Bio & Career

Lucy Hawking studied French and Russian at the University of Oxford. After graduating, she began studying journalism at the University of London. During her studies, she decided to dedicate herself to writing. After finishing her graduation, she served as a journalist for the magazine New York and the newspapers Daily Mail, The Daily Telegraph, The Times, Evening Standard and The Guardian as well as a radio journalist. 
 
Her first two novels were published in 2004 (Jaded) and 2005 (Run for Your Life). Then she wrote children's books. The secret key to the universe appeared in 2007, the adventure story of the boy George, who slips through a computer-generated portal and flies around the solar system.  She was awarded by many prestigious awards for her outstanding work and some of the awards and recognization she received such as, in 2008, she received the "Sapio Prize", an Italian award for innovative researchers for the worldwide popularization of science.
 
 In 2010, Arizona State University named Hawking writer-in-residence for the Origins Project 2011 Furthermore, Lucy Hawking was appointed a member of the Royal Society of Arts. She authored the book together with her father and the support of his former student Christophe Galfard. It translated into 38 languages and also published in 43 countries. The second children's book, The Unbelievable Journey into the Universe, was published two years later. The book series was with George, the Big Bang (2011) and George, and the Unbreakable Code (2014). Lucy Hawking married to Alex Mackenzie Smith in 1998. And they got separated in 2004. From this marriage, she had a son who was diagnosed by autism, after that she began to work on the people those was suffered by autism.
