Lucy’s very first musical attempt was during the time while she was just 10 years old. She was during the time used to have acted in a secondary school. In addition to this she also joined Marist College, Auckland for her education completion and along with this, she started her professional career within drama as working across William Davis Centre for Actors Study. The appearance of Hercules and the Amazon Women within the year 1994 Lucy was able to gather the heart of millions of her fans and she was offered with challenging roles one after another within the very time.
 
Whilst she has been primarily known for her role on "Xena: Warrior Princess", Lucy has also appeared in the classic TV series, Battlestar Galactica in 2004, in the semi-regular role of "D'anna Biers", amongst her other many and varied roles, including the hit Adam Sandler movie, Bedtime Stories in 2008. Lucy was also in several made-for-TV movies including Locusts in 2005 and Vampire Bats in 2005.
 
She also lent her voice to the straight-to-video movies: Justice League: The New Frontier in 2008 and Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight in 2008.
