Man Kaur was born on 01-03-1916 in Patiala in the state of Punjab, India. She is an Indian Athlete.

Man Kaur Complete Bio & Career

Man Kaur is the only golden girl in India who holds EIGHT World records. The then sports minister Mr. Vijay Goel hailed her feat after she won four gold medals in American Masters Games held in Vancouver this year. She won two gold medals while participating in World Masters Athletics, 2011 held at Sacramento in 100M and 200M races and both were World Records. She was declared Athlete of the year.
 
In 2012 she participated in Asian Masters Athletics Championships held in Taipei, Taiwan and won a Gold medal in 100M race. In 2013, she won 5 gold medals in Canadian Masters Athletics Championships held in Regina. In 2013 again she took part in Huntsman World Senior Games where more than 10000 participants from around the world took part and won 5 gold medals and in Shot put and Javelin throw she broke the World Records.
 
In August this year, she won 4 gold medals and all are World Records while participating in Americas Master Games held in Vancouver. She won 4 gold medals in World Masters Athletics Championships in 100,200, Javelin Throw and shot put. She broke the previous record of an American Lady in 100 M. by 3 seconds.  She broke Guinness World Record for javelin with a throw of 5.12m.
 
She is the only lady athlete from India to hold 4 World records in her age group. Her name has been entered in the Limca Book of Records 2016 edition. The secret to her fitness is on every alternate day, she goes to track and sprints even at this age. She drinks a glass of kefir in the morning and eats roti made of sprouted wheat both the time.  She consumes two tablespoons of wheatgrass daily. She consumes nuts and seeds daily. She also consumes a glass of seasoned fruit daily.
