Matthew always had his calling in the entertainment world. He started working as a co-host on a TV show named “SK8-TV” while he was still in high school. In the year 1991, he made his debut as an extra in the movie “Go to College” and then in a comedy “Serial Mom”.
 
Versatile Lillard was chosen to give a voice to the character of “Shaggy” in the animated movie series “Be Cool Scooby-Doo!” and “Mystery Incorporated”. He has given a voice for this character in more than five video games as well. He was even cast as Shaggy Rogers in the live-action film “Scooby-Doo” in 2002 and later in its sequel “Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed”. 
 
Lillard’s first movie as a Producer and Director came in 2011 named “Fat Kid Rules the World”. He has done work in Films as well as Television series. His performance in 2011s’ Comedy n Drama Film “The Descendants” was highly appreciated.
 
Lilliard is happily married to beautiful Heather Helm and together they have three children. They all stay in Los Angeles in the USA.
