Born on 7 May 1997, Matthew Matty Cash is a footballer by profession. He received his training from Nottingham Forest academy. He also joined the FAB football academy situated at Abbey. Initially, he collaborated with Wycombe Wanderers.
 
He played football professionally for the first time at a club named, Dagenham and Redbridge. On 4 March 2016, he joined the club for one month. In his first match only, he won for the daggers and defeated Hartlepool united. A three-year deal was signed by him with Nottingham forest on 5 August 2016. He made his debut for the club a day later and defeated Burton Albion. He earned praise from all over due to his performances. Unfortunately, he had a fracture on his fifth match on 11 September 2016, and consequently, he was out from the match for a period of 3 months.
 
He made his comeback on 25 November and defeated Barnsley. 6,000,000 bid was placed on him by Bundesliga. He extended his deal with the forest on 3 March 2017 until 2021. He had an injury and was again sidelined for 3 Months. He defeated West Bromwich Albion. Club regarded him as its player of the season on 12 August 2020. Cash was signed by Aston Villa for a 5-year term on 3 September 2020. The contract worth was 16 Million.
