Merrill Markoe was born on13 August 1948, in New York City. She is a Television dramatist, writer and also a comedian. Her family shifted from time to time, which included her staying in Florida (Miami) and also in California (San Francisco). She did her study at the (California University) at Berkeley, and in the year1970 she got her bachelor degree ( B.A.), and in 1972 she was had her masters degree ( M.A.).She started working as an art teacher at the Southern California University. After going over the scriptwriting course and also researching Mary Hartman, the principal author of Mary Hartman, In the year 1977, she became the writer for the revival of (Laugh-In), and she became an active member Robin Williams team. And even she got the member of (Mary Tyler Moore first attempt), through the role of (Marry) played with, "David Letterman" who was her long-term boyfriend.
Markoe became the editor-in-chief in the year 1990 of The David Letterman played, a morning show (short-lived NBC ) with a writing team and their hard work paid them to present the (Daytime Emmy Award) for their excellence. Markoe and David Letterman took part in three (Primetime Emmy Award) in recognition of her teamwork with David Letterman late at night. She created an architecture for the revolutionary talk show, and designed the 'stupid pet skills' section, along with 'stupid human skills' and 'audience mail .' In the year 2005, Markoe seemed to be a regular team member of Who Who the Dog of Animal Planet? She has written various columns for some journals, which includes Charisma, The New York Times, Los Angeles “Los Angeles Times, USA, People, Fashion, Rolling Stone, Time, New York Women, Huffington Post, and so other columns. She appeared in the second episode of a friend, as the irritating museum curator Marsha, who can be viewed as a group member as well as the actor of The 'Aristocrats" in the movie "EDtv."
